Elon Musk announced the business would offer its own Gigabier at the factory during the automaker’s Giga-fest to honour the upcoming opening of its new factory in Germany this past weekend. “Gigabeer” is spelled Gigabier in German.
“And we’re even going to have a beer,” Musk said, referring to the railway station and graffiti art that would be at the Berlin-area plant. Tesla released a limited-edition Teslaquila tequila in 2020, which it sold for $250 per bottle on its U.S. website, and offered a second run in 2021, which was likewise immediately sold out. Resellers frequently list the lightning-shaped bottle for over $1,000, both with and without the liquor inside.
