Karva Chauth is just around the corner, which means that tens of thousands of women across India will be celebrating with great zeal. This is also an opportunity for married women to dress up in lovely ethnic outfits. While many people prefer the color red, you can always make a statement by choosing a different shade and avoiding crimson. And the photographs of Kiara Advani in an aqua embroidered lehenga will persuade you to do the same.

Handmade 2 lakh aqua lehenga, Kiara Advani inspires to shun red this Karva ChauthKiara Advani recently posed for a photograph in which she wore a handmade aqua-colored lehenga ensemble from Anita Dongre’s festive collection. Kiara’s admirers were ecstatic when the designer shared photos from the shoot with them. Celebrity stylist Lakshmi Lehr created the traditional style. While red is one of the most popular colors for this celebration, new tones can always be tried. Rather than plastering yourself with crimson, opt for a bold yet subtle aqua tone to help you steal the show.

Kiara chose an organza silk lehenga dress for the shoot, which she looked stunning in. A posse of embroidered wildflowers in pink, white, green, and orange colors cascade over a flowy silhouetted lehenga, adding romantic touches to the ensemble. Kiara accessorized her lehenga with a spaghetti-strapped bralette-style top with a sweetheart neckline and multi-colored flower embroidery. A Gota Patti border and a zari dupatta with wildflowers complemented the appearance.
