On Monday, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa married in Chandigarh. The couple married according to Hindu customs, followed by a wedding reception attended by a limited group of guests, including Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Rajkummar had announced his marriage on Instagram with the first photographs from the ceremony, writing,“Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship, and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband @patralekhaa Here’s to forever .. and beyond.”In the comments section, everyone from Priyanka Chopra to Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Anil Kapoor complimented the newlyweds.
The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in New Chandigarh staged an all-white engagement event for Rajkummar and Patralekhaa on Saturday. Rajkummar got down on one knee to propose to Patralekhaa, who reciprocated with the same move and said, “Will you marry me?” They danced to a romantic song and exchanged rings. The engagement party had only a few guests, including Farah Khan and Saqib Saleem.
While they each posted four official wedding photos, other informal photos have been difficult to come by. The actors’ fan accounts, on the other hand, have settled on an unseen photo of Patralekhaa. It showed her carrying two dogs in her hands while wearing a crimson bridal gown designed by Sabyasachi. Patralekhaa wore the crimson veil and grinned for the camera from behind it. Gaga, one of the dogs, appeared to be her own. On the same day, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar attended the wedding celebration and tweeted a photo with the newlyweds. He penned,“Attended the wedding ceremony of Bollywood actors Rajkumar Rao and Patralekha in Chandigarh, blessed the bride and groom for a successful married life.”
Ayushmann Khurrana took to his Instagram handle and shared a Story, featuring the newlyweds and wrote along with it, “Heartfelt congratulations @rajkummarrao and @patralekhaa.” Priyanka Chopra Jonas congratulated the couple by reposting their photo and wrote, “So excited for both of you, my friends! This was always going to happen! So happy!”
