Mrunal Thakur Reveals she feels bad for slapping Shahid Kapoor in the movie- “Jersey”

Jersey, starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, has been making news since its release. The film’s trailer was released yesterday, and it has now gone viral. A memorable sequence from the trailer has become the buzz of the town. To learn more, continue reading. Shahid and Mrunal portray husband and wife in the film, as seen in the trailer. They also have a kid who desires to be a cricketer, and Shahid is determined to grant him all of his wishes. However, the issue arises when his son requests Sachin Tendulkar’s cricket jersey as a birthday present.

Shahid Kapoor is seen asking his wife, Mrunal Thakur, for money in order to grant his son’s wish. Later, he was caught stealing money in order to grant his son’s dream. Soon after, they get into an argument, and Mrunal is seen slapping Shahid over a financial issue. During the launch of the Jersey trailer, Mrunal Thakur talked about the slapping sequence. Mrunal responds, “You know more than me,” when producer Allu Aravind asks the actress, “How can you smack my guy in the film, what is this?” I’ve gotten myself harmed. ‘How can I smack Shahid Kapoor?’ it’s like. First and foremost, no. It took me a while…” “The ones who got smacked don’t get to feel horrible,” Shahid interrupted just in time. “It was me who got slapped.”

 

“It was incredibly challenging”, the 29-year-old actress continues. The film’s much-anticipated trailer has now been released by the producers. Shahid’s character, Arjun Raichand, a former cricketer, is briefly seen in the trailer footage. Mrunal Thakur, who plays him, portrays him considering a comeback to a lost passion, cricket, while going through a rocky era in his marriage. The intriguing video promises a roller coaster of emotions as the audience watches an ambitious player climb and fall.

 

Fans were quick to react to the trailer for Jersey on the microblogging site Twitter as soon as it was published. Several fans voiced their enthusiasm as well as their thoughts on the subject. A handful of them were reminded of Kapoor’s most recent blockbuster, Kabir Singh. They praised Kapoor’s portrayal of a cricketer as well as the film’s suspenseful premise.
