Several websites crashed when Spider-Man No Way Home fans attempted to purchase tickets. On December 17, the film will be released in US theatres.

MCU fans had a setback ahead of the debut of Spider-Man: No Way Home, as movie ticket websites went down. Fans reported on Twitter earlier this week that they were unable to book tickets for the film because the theatre websites were down. One fan of MCU wrote, “Aaaahh all the sites have crashed for #NoWayHome Tickets #SpiderMan.” “We did it, fam. We crashed basically every site that could be selling tickets to #SpiderMan. Some people even said, “Proud of us”.

Even twitter got filled with fan’s tweets . One of them tweeted, “Been trying to get NWH tickets since they dropped and @Fandango keeps crashing on us #SpiderMan.” Someone even said, “I got to select my #SpiderMan seats on AMC, then it said it was going to charge me for both tickets, while also asking if they were A-List reservations or not. Backed out, chose other seats, then didn’t even give me the A-List option. Waited in line again, and now it crashed lmao”. Meanwhile, Some of them even shared memes stating the same.

According to ComicBook.com, following a rush in ticket booking, Fandango, Regal, and AMC ticketing sites were pulled offline, followed by the Alamo Drafthouse website. Later, AMC posted a waiting list, allowing fans to purchase tickets. Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on December 17 in the United States and December 16 in India. This is Spider-Man’s/Peter Parker’s third solo feature. Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zendaya, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Marissa Tomei, and other actors star in the film.

Willem Dafoe will play the Green Goblin, Alfred will play Doctor Octopus, and Jamie will play Electro in the third instalment of director Jon Watts’ Spider-Man franchise. In a recent interview with Fandango, producer Amy Pascal discussed the film and said,

“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – (this is not) the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go on to the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”
