Jennifer Lawrence, who is expecting her first child, recently quipped on a talk show that she did nothing except have sex during her three-year layoff.
Jennifer Lawrence is expecting her first child with husband Cooke Maroney, and her appearances at the premieres of her new film, Don’t Look Up, have wowed audiences. She recently talked about her three-year absence from movies and what she did during that time.
Jennifer recently appeared on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show ahead of the release of her film. When asked what she did during her long sabbatical, she replied, “I simply had a tonne of sex,” breaking into laughter as she caressed her baby bump.
“Good for you,” said the presenter, but Jennifer quickly added, “I am joking.” “I cooked a little,” she continued. After the pandemic, I spent a lot of time cooking and cleaning.” Stephen, the host, went on to ask her about her back-up plan if she didn’t return to acting after her vacation. “I believe I would make an excellent housekeeper.” I make a lot of messes, but I’m quite good at cleaning them up. I’m capable of attacking shambles.” She also mentioned that while cleaning up the mess, she listens to her Mother Podcast.
Jennifer, in a better way describing her break, remarked, “It was enjoyable. Nobody seemed to mind when I took a break. It was calm, and I felt like I could reintegrate into society without much hoopla.” Leonardo DiCaprio, another Academy Award winner, also appears in Don’t Look Up. They play astronomers who are on a mission to warn the world about a looming comet that threatens to destroy the globe. But, starting with Meryl Streep’s President Janie Orlean, the message falls on deaf ears. Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Rob Morgan, Tyler Perry, Mark Rylance, and Ariana Grande star in the picture. On December 24, it will be available to stream on Netflix after a limited theatrical release.
