On Tuesday, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain tied the knot. Vicky’s mother danced to Sushant Singh Rajput’s song at their sangeet.

In the last several days, several videos and photos from their sangeet, cocktail, haldi, and mehendi celebrations have appeared online. Several celebs, including Kangana Ranaut, Eijaz Khan, and Pavitra Punia, attended the sangeet on Monday night. Ankita’s mother-in-law and sister-in-law were seen dancing to a song from late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s film in a clip released by a fan account from the ceremony. The two danced on stage to Kai Po Che’s Shubhaarambh (2013). Badshah, a rapper, and Aastha Gill, a singer, also performed at their sangeet.

Ankita wore a silver shimmery lehenga for the occasion. Vicky wore black leggings and a black jacket with silver embroidery. She changed into a white and silver lehenga later when the couple danced together. They danced to songs like Sapna Jahan from Akshay Kumar’s film Brothers (2017) and Salman Khan’s Slow Motion Mein from Bharat (2019). Ankita also dedicated a performance on the title track of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi to Vicky.

Ankita had previously danced to a song from Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Raabta at their engagement ceremony on Sunday evening (2017). She had also performed to Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do.

“Apart from actors, the wedding would be graced by Bhagat Singh Koshyari, the Governor of Maharashtra,” a Hindustan Times insider stated of their wedding. Ankita and Vicky personally visited him at Raj Bhavan a few days ago and invited him.” Designer Manish Malhotra will put together Ankita and Vicky’s costumes, according to the source. “The actor intends to forego the traditional bridal colours of red and pink in favour of a gold attire. According to the informant, the outfit also has a long netted trail.
