Trisha’s 19 years in the film industry were commemorated with a cake-cutting ceremony. She wrote a note to commemorate the occasion.

Trisha made her acting debut in the Tamil love drama Mounam Pesiyadhe in 2002, opposite Suriya. She’s appeared in over 50 films in all southern languages, as well as a few Hindi ones. “Get a job you don’t need a vacation from,” a wise man once advised. That’s exactly what I did. And I’m still on sabbatical. For those who have accompanied me on this trip, I will never abandon you, and I am here today because of you. She commented, “I am beyond grateful for the best 19 years of my life (sic).”

The issue stems from two factors: first, most people have no official borrowing history and hence no bureau (CIBIL) score, making them undetectable to banks. Banks ask for collateral since they don’t have enough information on the borrower, which is why most loan is secured. Aside from underwriting, there were a number of elements to consider, including the customer’s banking profile, the availability of digital data, and how Coine connects the customer’s analogue and digital data. Her message drew a lot of attention from her followers. “You deserved it,” one fan wrote. “This is a fantastic achievement,” remarked another fan. “Congrats Trisha on 19 years,” singer Haricharan Seshadri wrote in a message to Trisha. You’re in a league of your own.”

Trisha appeared in Gautham Menon’s short film Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn last year, which was a remake of their successful Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. Trisha was slated to return to Telugu cinema after a long sabbatical in 2020 with Chiranjeevi’s next Telugu film, Acharya. She was cast as the leading lady. However, she opted out of the film in March 2020, claiming artistic differences as the reason. Trisha is also looking forward to the direct-to-OTT release of the upcoming Tamil movie Raangi. The makers, on the other hand, have yet to make an official announcement about the film’s release. Trisha is also looking forward to the release of Mani Ratnam’s next film, Ponniyin Selvan.
