V, a member of BTS, has broken two records with his Instagram debut. Following their debut, the singer became the fastest Instagram user to reach 1 million and 10 million followers.

With his Instagram account, BTS member V has smashed two records. Last Monday, the singer debuted on the social networking platform alongside BTS bandmates RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook.V has set two new Guinness World Records: fastest time to reach 1 million and fastest time to reach 10 million Instagram followers, according to Guinness World Records. In 43 minutes, the BTS singer had a million Instagram followers, and in 4 hours and 52 minutes, he had crossed 10 million followers.

NCT’s Taeil, Harry Potter star Rupert Grint, and Friends alum Jennifer Aniston previously held the record. This year, the K-pop trio has also set a number of Guinness World Records. Among other achievements, their song Butter set records for most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours and most-streamed track on Spotify in the first 24 hours.

BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have each amassed over 20 million fans. RM has 22 million Instagram followers, Jin has 22.3 million, Suga has 21.9 million, J-Hope has 22 million, Jimin has 23.2 million, V has 25.6 million, and Jungkook has 24.1 million. Since their debut, the members of the K-pop group have been uploading photos on Instagram. Due to the fact that the members are on holiday, they have been sharing photos and videos from their trip. RM revealed photos from his vacation to Texas, while V and J-Hope shared photos from their recent trip to Hawaii. Jungkook, Jimin, and Suga exchanged old photos, while Jin showed off his cooking skills.

BTS debuted on Instagram on the same day that their management company, Big Hit Music, announced that the members would be taking a “formal lengthy period of rest.” ’ “This period of rest will allow the members of BTS, who have relentlessly committed themselves to their activities, with the opportunity to be re-inspired and recharged with creative energy,” according to the statement. “It will also be the first time for them to spend the holiday season with their family since their debut,” it added.
