Dilip Joshi was asked if he feels stuck after doing TMKOC for so long in an interview with ETimes. “My programme is a comedy show, and it’s wonderful being a part of it,” the actor responded. So I’ll keep doing it till I enjoy it. I’ll leave when I no longer find it enjoyable. I get offers from other shows, but I don’t see why I should leave this one when it’s doing well. This has been a lovely adventure, and I am grateful for it. People adore us, and why would I ruin it?
“Wherever there are Indian channels, people watch these shows,” the Maine Pyar Kiya actor confessed that television has become bigger than Bollywood in terms of reach. When Amitabh Bachchan took over as presenter of Kaun Banega Crorepati, he completely transformed television. When people watched him on TV, the medium’s standard rose. People began to value it more. And the industry has grown tremendously since then.”
