Director Kabir Khan of Bajrangi Bhaijaan has revealed that the title of the film’s sequel is what Salman Khan is calling it. In truth, the filmmaker has yet to determine whether or not to make the film because the script has not yet been finalised.
Days after Salman Khan announced the Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel, director Kabir Khan said that the actor did so out of excitement, despite the fact that the script has yet to be locked. The sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan will be titled Pawan Putra Bhaijaan, according to Salman.
In the 2015 blockbuster, Salman played the title role alongside Kareena Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Harshaali Malhotra. K V Vijayendra Prasad was the author. “Pawan Putra Bhaijaan is what Salman is calling it,” Kabir stated in an interview with Mid-Day. It is undoubtedly being written; he stated that he is looking forward to it. I haven’t seen the script, but Vijayendra sir is known for writing intriguing scripts. I’m never excited about the prospect of [making] a sequel. Only because [the original] was successful will I ever make a sequel to my picture. I’ll be pleased to write a terrific narrative if I come across one.” “Salman doesn’t follow [protocols] of official announcements, he talks,” the filmmaker jokes.
In December of last year, Salman revealed the Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel during a promotional event for SS Rajamouli’s RRR. When asked about it, though, Kabir told India Today, “That declaration is something Salman did.” The script has yet to be written, and the concept has yet to be fully formed. There is practically nothing we can talk about right now.” In India, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the third highest-grossing movie of all time. It was nominated for a National Film Award for Best Popular Film that Provides Healthy Entertainment. At a function, Salman had joined the RRR team. “I have a close relationship with Rajamouli and his father, as he penned Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and we will be working together again soon for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2,” he previously stated.
