Ajay Devgn writes of ‘crushing rejections’
Actor Ajay Devgn commemorated the occasion by writing a long letter to the ’20-year-old’ version of himself on Instagram. “This #NationalYouthDay decided to scribble down a few thoughts for the 20-year-old Ajay, I hope he enjoys it,” Ajay captioned the long note.

“Dear 20-year-old me,” the note begins. As an actor, you’re creating your mark on this new world. Let’s be honest: you’re going to get a lot of rejections. You’ll try your utmost to fit in despite being shy and unorthodox, but you’ll fail terribly! People’s criticism and misgivings will be difficult to deal with, and they will cause you to doubt your goals. You’re more likely to fail than succeed.” He said, “But, spoiler alert, it’ll all be worth it in the end… because one day, you’ll understand that being yourself is your greatest strength. So, if you stumble a little, don’t give up. Continue to push the envelope and don’t let the world’s expectations become your inhibitions.” Always be honest to yourself, and always be yourself!” P.S. Ajay’s message drew a lot of attention from his fans. “Ye hamre nayi youth ke liye hai,” one guy wrote. Sir, you are the greatest (This is for the youth, sir, you are the greatest.)” “The 20-year-old version of you must be really, truly proud of you,” one person wrote. In Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, Ajay was last seen. RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, will be his next film. The film was supposed to be released this month, but due to a rise of Covid-19 instances in India, it was postponed. Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, and Alia Bhatt are among the cast members.
Maidaan, a film starring Boney Kapoor, is also in the works for Ajay. Syed Abdul Rahim, a football coach, is the inspiration for the film. Ajay will also star alongside Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiyawadi, Amitabh Bachchan in MayDay, and Sidharth Malhotra in Thank God.
