We’ll tell you all about Bhuban Badyakar, the man behind the viral Kacha Badam song, in this post.
The viral Kacha Badam song has remained a constant on the trends list as well as Instagram reels. While scrolling through Instagram, it’s difficult to avoid seeing videos of people dancing to the song’s upbeat sounds. Did you know, though, that the song was written by a West Bengal peanut vendor named Bhuban Badyakar?
THE MAN BEHIND THE VIRAL KACHA BADAM SONG IS BHUBAN BADYAKAR.
Bhuban Badyakar lives in the Dubrajpur block of Kuraljuri village in West Bengal’s Birbhum district’s Lakshminarayanpur Panchayat. Bhuban’s five-member family consists of his wife, two sons, and a daughter. In return for little trinkets and damaged household things, he sells peanuts. He sells peanuts in far-flung villages by bicycle. Every day, he sells 3- 4 kg of peanuts and earns Rs 200-250. However, after finding fame as the Kacha Badam man, he has been selling much more peanuts than usual.

Bhuban Badyakar’s financial situation, on the other hand, is dire. Bhuban displayed his basic home and living area in an interview with AajTak. “All I want is for people to know about my song, and I want the government to support me with some finances so that my family may have a permanent home.” “I also want to provide them with nice food and clothing,” Bhuban said in an interview.
Bhuban was pleasantly pleased by his unexpected social media stardom after selling peanuts for almost ten years. “I have no idea how my song became so popular.” While I was out on the streets, someone most likely taped my music. I sell peanuts in regions like Birbhum and Bardhaman,” Bhuban remarked.
