The story is obvious and predictable right from the start, but the process of getting to the inevitable end is fun and enjoyable. To earn money for college, a high schooler launches an app offering his services as a fake date. But when real feelings emerge, things get complicated. Noah Centineo won the Comedy Movie Star of 2019 at the People’s Choice Awards for this rom-com co-starring Laura Marano.
