So no one told you life was gonna be this way? Your job’s a joke, you are broke and your love life is a DOA!!! However, even if it has not been your day, your week, your month or even your year, still, your very own show FRIENDS will be there for you. One of the most popular and people’s favourite TV sitcoms, Friends is loved by people from all around the world. It is said that it is most famous amongst millennials but we Gen-Z also love it equally or even more, you never know.
The show which aired from the year 1994 to 2004 had its plot revolving around a group of six friends: Monica Geller, Chandler Bing, Joey Tribbiani, Phoebe Buffay, Rachel Green and Ross Geller who live in Manhattan. Well, let us be honest with each other, we must have all imagined ourselves being a part of the group at least once in our lives and that is okay, this is no judgement zone because we did the same.
We know the Friends craze is a forever-ignited one. Now just imagine, what if the Friends show was a Bollywood production? Well, someone already visualised six Bollywood actors as the main character of the show and we must say that the imagination was spot-on. Recently, Instagram user @femmeselfcarez shared a video which was originally posted by TikToker @shabnam.hussain1 titled ‘IF FRIENDS WAS MADE IN INDIA.’ In the video, we can see Juhi Chawla as Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), Salman Khan as Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Urmila Matondkar as Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Aamir Khan as Chandler (Matthew Perry), Akshay Kumar as Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) and Manisha Koirala as Monica (Courteney Cox).
Okay! Okay! We do not blame you for actually imagining it. The video did show an uncanny resemblance in their looks. The clip further features how Salman and Aamir would be a perfect pair as Joey and Chandler. However, if we sit and ponder, the imagination is not way too wild and maybe in the multiverse it is already happening. Now tell us who you would have chosen as the cast. Till then, let us grab some pizza and binge-watch our favourite episode of FRIENDS.
