Who was Agastay Chauhan, The YouTuber who lost his life in a road accident?

In unfortunate events, around 1.5 lakh people lose their lives in road accidents every year in India. In the year 2021, more than 4,12,432 road accidents had taken place which caused 1,53,972 deaths and injuries to around 3,84,448 people, as per the reports by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. A few days ago, Youtuber and famous bike rider Agastay Chauhan met with a road accident and lost his life while he was racing his bike at a very high speed. 

The Times Of India reported that the accident had taken place on Wednesday morning on the Yamuna Expressway. Agastay Chauhan was on a Kawasaki Ninja bike along with four of his friends on the expressway. His bike crashed into a divider after which he got severe head injuries and lost his life there only. The bike rider was driving at a speed of 300 kilometres/hour according to another Times Of India report. 

Who is Agastay Chauhan? 

Agastay Chauhan had a YouTube channel by the name ‘PRO RIDER 1000’ which had around 1.3 million subscribers. According to the reports, he was the youngest owner of the Kawasaki Ninja Bike (Zx 10r 2022 Raptor) in the country. He posted his last video on May 2. 

The YouTuber received his silver play button from youtube last year for crossing 100K subscribers. Agastay shared a photo of himself with his fans on the social media platform, Instagram in which he was holding a silver play button while posing with his Kawasaki Ninja Bike and the caption read, “Finally YouTube 100k+.”

Agastay Chauhan even enjoyed a great fan following on Instagram. He had around 224K followers and his account stated that he was also a college student. He often used to post videos of his bike rides on the platform. 

According to the newspaper reports, Agastay Chauhan lived in Dehradun. He was previously charged for conducting risky stunts on roads in Uttarakhand earlier this year under numerous sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act. It further added that Chauhan was one of the 12 bloggers who had been booked out by the traffic police in Dehradun for threatening public safety with their stunts.

Well, after this incident all we can say is always drive safe, someone loves you and is waiting for you. While driving also remember that there are other people who also have their families waiting for them and your rash driving might make them lose their life.
