And what’s a better option than food for the same. Students of North Campus need not go really far to enjoy themselves- Hudson Lane is just the neighbor one needs. Students from all over Delhi come to Hudson Lane, GTB Nagar to have the best kind of delicacies served with the most authenticity and Ahh-mazing presentations.

1)   Spezia Bistro: The perfect place for the first date

Spezia Bistro at Hudson Lane is undoubtedly the best place to hangout out with friends after a long day at college. I would even suggest that it would be the perfect place to impress your partner. The café ambiance has everything- from fairy lights, a little waterfall, and a wooden swing. The inexplicable designs in which they serve food are so eye-pleasing. The prices may be a little high for some dishes but the taste and quantity do all the justice.

Must Haves: The Big Cheese Wheel Sphaggeti Pasta

2)   Woodbox Cafe: A rooftop, fairy lights, and good food

This cafe is one of the first to have been ever established in Hudson Lane. The ambiance has very subtle yellow lighting which makes it all the way cozier. And then obviously there is the rooftop to give you all the blissful feels during good weather with probably a Virgin Mojito in hand. The prices are really not that high and quantity is abundant for two to three people.

3)   Shake Eat Up: The most affordable place at Hudson Lane

Not a really big one, but this café has a different charm of its own. Known for all the best platters ever served, the quantity for even three is just too much. It keeps offering good discounts and offers at certain delectable more often than not for DU students specifically. (Chalo college ID kahi to kaam aaegi). The shakes here are known to overflow the glasses literally. You could see for yourself once you get here. Also, the chocolate chaat is going to be your kind of dessert if you are an impeccable chocolate lover.

4)   Big Yellow Door: Perfection you said?

As their Instagram bio says ‘The door to awesome foodiness’, the café does all the justice to it. People of all age groups, be it, students, from the north campus or the people working in nearby offices or even families come here to have a gala time. The café is especially identified by its chic yellow door.

Must Haves: Chocolate Brownie Shake and the Cheese Bomb Burger

5)   Echoes: Where the differently-abled serve the food

The specialty of this café is that it employs people with speaking and hearing disabilities and hence gives an opportunity for them to work in a friendly environment. You can also get to learn sign language from them and the boards hung on the walls. The food here is as good as its ambiance. The café also organizes live music shows to enjoy while devouring your favorite cuisines.

6)   Ricos: Wanna have breakfast?

It is the best place to have a breakfast date with your special someone before getting into the tiring venture of your daily classes. From the ohh-so-delicious kinds of pasta to the yummy waffles and pancakes, everything here is adorably perfect. The staff here is as courteous as one could be, you would automatically be pursued to tip them good.

Must Haves: Do try all the deserts and the Nachos here

7)     Central Perk Café: Maybe you get Rachel or Joey to serve you coffee…(Ahh I wish)

As clear from the name, this café is a F.R.I.E.N.D.S themed base restaurant and a really amazing place for wine and dining. The ambiance is very similar to what you would have seen in the show. From Italian to Thai they serve almost every type of cuisine. A piece of personal advice, have your pockets filled before you visit the place.

Guys the list is endless, but so seems the quarantine right now and it will remain this way if you don’t stay in.
