Actress Ankita Lokhande has been the target of social media trolls since her December wedding. Some individuals have chastised her for ‘oversharing’ information regarding her wedding on social media. In a recent discussion, the actor described such trolls as “jealous and unpleasant” individuals.

On December 14, Ankita and Vicky Jain married in front of their family and friends. She has frequently posted snippets from her wedding festivities and after-party since then. A specific segment of social media users thought this ‘extreme’ for some reason. Ankita responded to the criticism she received recently in an interview with The Indian Express. “Meri shaadi hai, main nahi dalungi toh kaun daalega (Who would post my wedding if I don’t?)” she remarked. A few people, she noted, “are simply jealous and negative and can never be happy for others.”

The Pavitra Rishta star also discussed settling into her new married life. “We have been friends for a very long time,” she stated of her relationship with her husband Vicky. We recently married and are still adjusting to our new duties as husband and wife. I believe it will take some time for us to figure out how well this automobile drives in the future.” Ankita had expressed her apprehensions about doing daring or intimate moments because Vicky felt uncomfortable with them in a recent interview. “It has always been my choice to be who I am.” I don’t think I’m capable of doing such scenes. But, of course, now that I’m married, I don’t feel like I’m just me; I think even Vicky has some concerns; there are some things that even he can’t do anymore,” she told The Times of India.
