Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn’s characters in SS Rajamouli’s next film RRR have been discussed. Ram Charan and Jr NTR will play the key roles in the flick.
Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn will ‘play cameos’ in SS Rajamouli’s forthcoming film RRR, according to the director. In a new interview, he stated that the characters are equally vital to the heroes, and that they are “sometimes more significant than the heroes themselves.”
Alia Bhatt plays Sita in the film RRR. Ajay Devgn’s role in the film was previously touted as a master of strength.’ The film’s trailer included both Alia and Ajay. RRR is a Telugu period film directed by SS Rajamouli. “A job cannot be judged by its length,” SS Rajamouli stated in an interview with The Indian Express.
He further added, “A part cannot be chosen just on the basis of its length. Both Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn play pivotal roles. If we consider RRR to be a body, Ajay Sir’s character in the film is its spirit. And we know there are two powers, two powerhouses in the film, and Sita, played by Alia Bhatt, is the one who must balance them, who has the capacity and strength to restrain them. They appear in the picture as cameos, and I’m not going to lie to the audience about it. They are equally important, if not more so, than the heroes themselves in terms of importance.”
In response to the question of whether Alia and Ajay were cast to appeal to a Hindi-speaking audience, he answered, “No, and I am quite certain of that. When I was making Makkhi or Baahubali, I never looked for actors who spoke other languages to fill in the gaps in the story. However, it is always about actors who are genuinely suited to their roles and possess personality traits that the characters demand and deserve.”
RRR tells fictional stories about two early twentieth-century liberation fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Alluri Sitarama Raju will be played by Ram Charan, and Komaram Bheem will be played by Jr NTR. On January 7, 2022, the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
